    Position Description:

    The Program Manager I, II, and Senior will provide overall program management for Energy Programs (e.g. Customer Solar Interconnection Process and Customer Energy Optimization Programs) offered by Tucson Electric Power (TEP), UniSource Electric (UNSE) and UniSource Gas (UNSG). This includes daily oversight of support staff (e.g. Technical Specialists and Program Coordinators) for program implementation and reporting. The Program Manager will be responsible for management of program goals related to Energy Programs including participation, energy savings, budgets, reporting, and identification of program changes that are necessary The Program Manager will also provide guidance and work with Corporate Communications for mass media campaigns including internet, social media, television, radio, and print as well as being a speaker at various community special events.

    Position-Related Responsibilities:

    + Provides overall promotion, leadership, and management for Energy Programs.

    + Manages and directs vendors, installers and implementation contractors related to Energy Programs.

    + Responsible for annual third party evaluations of Energy Programs.

    + Assists with the planning, development, prioritization and management of Energy Programs to ensure goals and milestones are met.

    + Promotes Energy Programs for UNSE, UNSG and TEP to existing customers and developers. Gains commitment from the customers to participate in available programs. Negotiates and develops written contracts for participants as necessary.

    Key job responsibilities

    Manage requirements, budget, design, and implementation of assigned projects

    Assess annual maintenance program requirements and build a rolling 18 month project forecast

    Facilitate creation of SOWs with partner teams to be included in contract documents including RFQ/RFPs, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing.

    Evaluate performance and work product of on-site partners and escalate issues through Amazon leadership.

    Identify and communicate needs for design improvements.

    Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with, operational teams, cross functional amazon team members, and partners.

    Lead and coordinate design and execution efforts between internal teams and outside partners including equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layout.

    Evaluate project risks and issues and propose actionable resolutions.

    Build strong working relationships with data center leadership teams across multiple sites as well as other internal stakeholders (operations, finance, safety, security, legal, procurement).

    General knowledge of data center operations and facility management.

    Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

    Ability to follow accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries.

    Basic Qualifications
