    In this critical role, the **Sr. Staff Engineer Systems** will lead a cross-functional team through the development, validation and transition to production of the SiAW General Electronic Unit (GEU). The selected candidate will serve as the technical authority, driving system-level decisions and ensuring that all requirements are met. The selected candidate will act as the primary interface with internal stakeholders, and business leadership to ensure the successful development, integration, and test program for the USAF SiAW Program.

    Job Title: EMI/EMC Test EngineerJob Description

    The EMI/EMC Test Engineer leads and executes electromagnetic interference and compatibility testing in compliance with MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards. This role requires a strong foundation in RF engineering, EMI analysis, and mitigation techniques. Responsibilities include test planning, setup, execution, and documentation, as well as managing lab instrumentation and ensuring data integrity.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and execute electromagnetic interference and compatibility testing.

    + Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards.

    + Develop test plans and oversee setup and execution.

    + Manage lab instrumentation and maintain data integrity.

    + Document test procedures and results.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline is required.

    + Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in EMI and EMC.

    + Equivalent military training and applied experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    + Demonstrated proficiency in EMI/EMC testing and compliance.

    + Strong foundation in RF engineering principles, with emphasis on EMI analysis and mitigation techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with EMI/EMC automation and analysis software such as TILE!, VEE, and BAT-EMC.

    + Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation.

    + Proven troubleshooting and data analysis skills.

    + Client-facing experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

    Work in a small, family-like team environment with flexible schedules available Monday through Friday onsite. Choose from either a 5am-2pm or 8am-4pm shift. Enjoy a hands-on experience with various electrical components and benefit from a snack cart and lunch break room.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
