**Where You Will Work**

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

**What You Will Do**

+ Perform a variety of patrol, security, emergency response and customer service duties at assigned location.

+ Greet and log in all visitors and vendors at entrance gate

+ Notify appropriate personnel or department of arrival

+ Direct visitors and vendors to destination

+ Enforce company policies and procedures

+ Perform frequent patrols of the property

+ Walk, bicycles, or drives vehicle on irregularly scheduled rounds of property

+ Observe conditions of equipment, grounds and facilities

+ Pick up litter or debris as needed, or arranges clean-up with maintenance crews

+ Report damages or areas in need of repair to the Maintenance Supervisor

+ Conduct surveillance of locations or areas in which vandalism or criminal activities have been noted

+ Assist with and trained for emergency situations

+ Collaborate with police officers in the prevention of crime

+ Work with fire response units for fire suppression, and with medical emergency response units in the event of emergency situations, at the assigned location

+ Provide basic emergency medical response (e.g. performs CPR, gives basic first aid) when needed

+ Perform other duties as required

**What You Bring To Freeport**

+ Current CPR and first aid certifications, as required by specific site location

+ Skilled in responding appropriately to emergency and conflict situations

+ Knowledge of site rules, regulations, policies and procedures

+ Knowledgeable of the site topography and locations of emergency equipment and access points

+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ High School diploma or GED

The estimated pay range for this role is currently **$16.00 - $21.50/hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. As a Safe and Secure Associate, you will be an integral part of the Safe and Secure Team executing programs and processes at our facility to ensure our associates, customers, and assets are protected. A Day in the Life

Manage and properly document the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
You will be the face of Carvana to our associates, our vendors, and anyone visiting a site.
Lead with effective communication with team, partners, and customers. Ensure you are a strong active listener and are incorporating effective dialogue.
Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and Logistics facility yard and buildings - documenting any security and/or safety concerns.
Become trained and certified on a variety of life saving measures such as first aid, CPR, and AED. Be there when the Team needs you.
Partner with your Safe and Secure Team Lead and Safe and Secure Manager to remedy the various requests we receive for badge creation, CCTV review, amongst other components.
Promote an incident ready focus everyday at your site. Understand our Incident Response Protocol and ensure appropriate actions are taken when needed.
De-escalate situations to ensure we collaborate with partners and team members; keep our Carvana value in mind, “we are all in this together”.
Execute the facility Safe and Secure Principles at the entrance/exits. These Principles articulate processes to follow when allowing access and exit from the Carvana Facility/Lot.
Utilize our Safe and Secure Application (SAS App) and RFID Technology.
Deliver a service first approach in everything you do.

Basic Qualifications

Job Description

+ This position ensures that all hotel guest, associates and hotel property are maintained in a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

+ Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets.

+ Answer house calls to assist both guests and associates with respect to safety, security and hotel operations.

+ Initiate and follow-up with all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons.

+ Assist sick/injured guests or associates ensuring all documentation, reporting and witness statements have been completed within a timely manner.

+ Initiate investigations, write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contacts.

+ Maintain accurate records while performing basic duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity log, codebook and employee/guest interactions.

+ Monitor/distribute visitor and vender access to the property by distributing visitor badges.

+ Perform frequent bag checks for associates leaving the property.

+ Escort and interact with special guests that need privacy when entering/exiting the hotel through heart of the house areas.

+ Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive guest or associate issues.

+ Assist supervisor or director in checking alarm systems, safety and fire alarm systems and closely monitoring security of building doors, service areas, delivery areas and grounds.

+ Assist hotel management in emergency situations by knowing all hotel safety procedures and leading/directing guests and associates to safety.

Qualifications

+ Must be able to stand and walk for up to 4 hours per shift.

+ Must be able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, radio and reporting.

+ Must have basic computer knowledge.
